Gris
Another Cozy Game Like Journey, Gris is a stunning 2D platformer which explores the concept of grief in an artistic and unique way. Playing as the title character, Gris, you explore a colourless world and have to restore it back by collecting multiple lights and solving puzzles.

Stray is an adventure game which follows a cat who falls into a walled city populated by robots, machines, mutant bacteria and looks to reach to surface once again with help of a drone companion, B-12.
A Cozy Game Like Journey, Stray will take you on a very emotional adventure as you forge friendships with robotic beings and have to make unbearable sacrifices that will get you a little teary eyed. I highly recommend Stray to any cat lover and Journey fan alike.
A Memoir Blue
Yet another Cozy Game Similar to Journey, A Memoir Blue is defined as an interactive poem by its developers and sees the player control a swimmer as she relives her childhood in a very stylistic way.
With a combination of 2D animation and 3D graphics, the story of this game can be felt as it draws inspiration from one of the developers real life experiences and childhood. Although it’s a short game in an over saturated market, I still recommend giving A Memoir Blue a go if you’re looking for a story based game with little to no narration.
The Last Campfire
The Last Campfire is a puzzle game which sees the player take control of a soul named Ember, who solves various environmental puzzles to help fellow forlorn souls who have lost hope to find their purpose.
A Cozy Game Like Journey, you utterly feel alone in your environment and feel like the happiness and future of others falls directly on your shoulders. Although it’s not a straightforward adventure like many entries on this list, I still recommend picking up The Last Campfire as it’s a very good, story driven puzzle game that everyone should play at least once.
A Short Hike
Although it’s not exactly like an emotionally driven, wordless game like Journey, A Short Hike will still take you on a much needed adventure as you play as Claire, who must hike, fly and climb her way to the top of a mountain in order to get a phone signal.

What Remains of Edith Finch
Probably one of the most eeriest games on this list, What Remains of Edith Finch explores multiple short stories leading up to the deaths of many family members of the Finch family. The game is narrated by the main character as she talks to you about the many family members who had unfortunately succumbed to the family curse and just how they met their fate.
Although it’s not as emotionally driven compared to games like Journey or Gris, What Remains of Edith Finch certainly fills the player with dread and general upset when you realise that you are literally playing through each recollection of every family member's last moments.
