Starting off strong, we have one of my cozy cat games, Stray. Stray is a third person adventure game where the players control a stray cat navigating a neon-lit cyberpunk city inhabited by robots. Separated from its family, the cat must explore the decaying urban environment, solve puzzles, and even evade deadly bacteria known as Zurks.
Along the way, our cute little feline befriends a small drone aptly named B-12 (play the game, you’ll get why), which helps you to communicate with the robotic inhabitants and uncover the city’s mysteries. Cleverly done, the game emphasizes fluid cat-like movement, atmospheric exploration, and an emotional story- trust me, you’re going to need tissues!
